The parade is expected to take approximately 30 minutes and will end at the Castlegate.

The parade’s traditional route has been changed due to the planned major works to upgrade Union Street’s Central area, which got underway on Monday, April 29, as part of the City Centre and Beach Masterplan.

The Lord Provost of Aberdeen Dr David Cameron said: “Aberdeen’s Armed Forces Day parade is a wonderful opportunity for people to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving personal, veterans and cadets.
