Mr Anderson said: “When I met the Jumpstart board, I was immediately attracted to the culture, history and direction of the company. They were enthusiastic, driven and engaging, but acutely aware of the need to develop a more corporate structure and strategy. This is where I knew I could help them.

“Working for Jumpstart has so far been challenging but highly enjoyable. With my experience in front line sales and building successful sales teams, our business focus is to drive market share through new business wins, where we have already seen some early success.”

Scott Henderson, MD of Jumpstart, said: “Chris has only been with us a short time and has already proven himself a key member of the senior management team. I am looking forward to working with Chris as Jumpstart continues its growth journey.”

Earlier this year Jumpstart opened an operation in the West Midlands, aimed at helping engineering firms to unlock millions in tax credits. The company prides itself on being a market ‘disrupter’ and currently has 43 staff, with 14 technical analysts, more than half of whom boast PhDs in specialist fields.
