New tax director set sights on growth for clients in Aberdeen office

KPMG UK has appointed a new Tax Director in its Aberdeen office to bolster the support the firm provides to businesses in the region.

Anna Morrison joins the multi-disciplinary professional services firm after 14 years advising groups within the energy sector, 13 of those at Wood plc.

She has over 17 years experience in the tax industry and her new role will see her work with clients on tax issues both locally and globally.

Anna said: “I am delighted to have joined KPMG and to be working with a wide range of clients on a variety of tax issues.

“The coming weeks, months and years offer exciting opportunities for growth and diversification for firms of all shapes and sizes in Aberdeen and across Scotland as a whole and I cannot wait to be on hand to support businesses on this journey.”

Anna earned a first class honours degree in Accounting and Finance from Robert Gordon University and has graduated from ICAS and the Charted Institute of Taxation.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family and travelling with her young daughter.
