Based in the firm’s office on Rosemount Place, Ms Craig is responsible for a portfolio of 1,300 properties over 50 sites across Aberdeen, Dundee and St Andrews. Having previously worked for a competitor in the city for over three years, Ms Craig has worked her way up from assistant to manager in a short space of time and has vast experience with managing new build developments.

Newton currently has 40 members of staff and manages 16,000 factored and 600 leased units across the whole of Scotland.

Ms Craig said: “I’m very much looking forward to working with the team at Newton, helping to increase its portfolio and deliver a high quality service to its clients. I have always been interested in helping people manage their assets and looking after their best interests. My experience with new build properties will also help Newton build on and enhance this service across Scotland.”

Ross Watt, director, said: “I am pleased to welcome Rachel to Newton as she will be a great support to our growing team here in the North-east. Our property managers all have different backgrounds and experiences so it’s important that we use their strengths when assigning them to their property portfolios, in order for us to provide our customers with a first-rate, tailored service.”
