ABERDEEN-based application experts, Escone Solutions have released a new contactless software solution to support organisations to track and trace employees and visitors entering their facilities.

Escone Appoint, enables people to sign-in to premises safely without contact or hardware.  The application-based software, powered by ‘TAAP Visitor Book app’, is a modern approach to greeting visitors, eliminating the need for pens, visitor books or touch-screens, supporting adherence to current governmental guidelines.

As well as re-enforcing hygiene and social distancing measures to minimise contact and transmission of COVID-19, the cloud-based subscription service also ensures GDPR compliance supporting organisations to track anyone accessing their buildings strengthening HSEQ and security procedures.

Kevin Wyness, Escone Solutions director, said: “As organisations began to plan their post-lockdown strategy for re-opening, we quickly realised there was a need for a digital solution to minimise contact when visiting premises.

“Not only are businesses being asked to keep staff, customers and visitors safe, but they also need to record who has entered the building and when.  Escone Appoint is a cost effective and simple solution that fits the bill on all levels.”
