ABERDEENSHIRE-based subsea company HPR ROV have announced the appointment of Michael O’Donnell as their new business development director.

Michael has more than 12 years’ experience in the energy sector having previously worked for Sparrows Group, BBRG and ROVOP.

Based in Aberdeen, he will be responsible for HPR ROVs global business development strategies.

Michael said, “I am truly excited to be joining HPR ROV.

“Whilst it is an uncertain market for many of us at the moment, things will improve, and with that will bring further focus on cost effective solutions within the segments we operate.

“We will be aiming to increase our geographical reach and will look to enter our services across the Middle East and GOM.”

Iain Petrie, HPR ROV owner, said: “I am certain that Michael will be instrumental in the growth of HPR ROV, and even in these uncertain times, I am excited to see what the future holds for the company.”
