Leaders from across the UK’s offshore energy sector will gather in Aberdeen next week for Offshore Energies UK’s (OEUK) annual Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Conference, taking place on Wednesday 25 February at P&J Live.
This year’s theme Trust, Transparency and Transformation will underpin a collaborative programme focused on strengthening health, safety and environmental performance across the industry. The one-day event is sponsored by Harbour Energy and TotalEnergies, with additional support from CNOOC International and Bureau Veritas.
Industry delegates, technical experts, and innovators will explore new approaches to enhancing trust and transparency within UK energy production, including strategies for emissions reduction and sustainable operations.
OEUK’s Energy Operations Director, Mark Wilson, said the conference represents an important opportunity to reflect, learn and lead. “With more than 60 years of oil and gas experience and 20 years of offshore wind delivery, the offshore energy industry is proud but not complacent about its HSE performance,” he said. “Our conference will focus on how we can sustain trust and enable people to challenge what more can be done to demonstrate transparency and identify areas to deliver transformational improvement.”
He added: “Our Health, Safety and Environment Conference is a pivotal moment for industry leaders, technical experts, regulators and innovators to come together, share ideas, and drive real change. We are committed to building workplaces where trust, transparency, and transformation aren’t just themes – they’re the foundation for everyone’s safety and success offshore.”

The event begins with registration from 8am, followed by an opening address from OEUK Chief Executive David Whitehouse at 9.10am. Proceedings will conclude at 4pm with a keynote presentation by Dr Mark McBride-Wright MBE, Founder and CEO of EqualEngineers.
