Aberdeen will once again host one of the world’s most influential energy events when SPE Offshore Europe 2025 takes place from 2–5 September at P&J Live — but this year’s edition carries more urgency than ever.

Bringing together tens of thousands of industry leaders, government figures and innovators from around the world, the four-day conference and exhibition will take place against a backdrop of escalating challenges for the UK’s offshore energy sector — and a pressing need to define its future.

“This is a momentous time for the UK’s oil and gas industry,” said David Whitehouse, Chair of the OE25 Executive Committee and Chief Executive of Offshore Energies UK (OEUK).
“Decisions made in the run-up to OE25 will not only shape the North Sea’s future but will have profound impacts on jobs, communities and companies across Europe.”

Aberdeen’s Business Community Gears Up

“Despite many headwinds, the North Sea can be at the heart of the UK’s industrial future. OE25 is a pivotal moment — and we must turn up in force to show policymakers that the sector is ready to lead.”
