OFFSHORE living quarter & engineering specialists, Modutec, has today announced a majority investment in Glasgow-based co-at Marine. Co-at Marine are experts in marine and offshore HVAC and refrigeration solutions providing the most cost-effective and reliable means of creating a safe and comfortable environment on board ships and offshore structures.

The move for the HVAC services company bolsters Modutec’s HVAC, piping & electrical solutions for the international marine, offshore, renewables and onshore process sectors, with an additional 10 skilled personnel positioned throughout Scotland.

The move is expected to support the increasing demand for efficient, eco-friendly HVAC solutions across the offshore and marine market worldwide.

Brian Knowles, Modutec Managing Director, commented:
