NORWEGIAN offshore supply vessel (OSV) operator Solstad Offshore has announced a number of contract awards with Total, Equinor and Serica Energy in the UK North Sea.

The firm, which has an operational base in Aberdeen, said the deals will provide work for four of its platform supply vessels.

The value of the contracts have not been disclosed.

The Normand Springer ship has been given a one-year contract, with an additional year option, for an unnamed Total installation in the sector which will start later this month.

Equinor has, meanwhile, awarded work to the Normand Sitella and Sea Falcon for an upcoming drilling campaign.

Both vessels have been contracted on a one well firm basis, beginning in the second quarter, to support the West Hercules rig, with an additional one option well thereafter.

Serica Energy has picked up the Normand Service for a one-well contract to support the Maersk Resilient jack-up rig, due to kick off in the first half of this month.
