Energy experts from Wood Plc, Apollo, TÜV SÜD and Repsol Sinopec recently met up in Aberdeen to discuss the future of energy. The conversation covered a range of topics and sought to demystify some of the jargon surrounding the energy transition.

Deirdre Michie, Chief Executive Officer of OGUK, said: “The UK oil and gas energy industry is taking steps to cut carbon emissions, transition to cleaner energy sources and help deliver the country’s climate targets.

“As this progresses, transparent conversation within the oil and gas industry will be vitally important so that our experience and expertise can be put to good use, which will help protect the economy and safeguard thousands of jobs.”
