Ms Craw commented: “The private-public partnership approach works. Since we started operating in 2016, ONE has secured £150m investment in the region for growth sectors on a co-investment basis and continues to develop as the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem builder, combining economic development with entrepreneurship and innovation.”
Kate Forbes, the Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary, stressed the importance of the ONE model in fostering entrepreneurial development and transforming the country’s economy during her interview with Times Radio’s Calum Macdonald.
The founders of Leap AI, Ben Stuart and Ben Bamford, along with their advisors Deirdre Michie, Mike Fleming, and Rob Burnett, discussed their journey through the North East Venture Mentoring Pilot, which was conducted in collaboration with ONE and its partners including Energy Transition Zone, Net Zero Technology Centre, University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University, and Scottish Enterprise.
