A NEXT-DAY service to Scotland’s most northerly city launched by Palletline in May has hit the ground running, achieving an on-time delivery success rate of more than 99 per cent.

The 24-hour service to Inverness and surrounding areas, launched by Palletline through its member A R R Craib, is the latest in the network’s portfolio of services, and is now part of its core offering which already includes 48 and 72-hour services to Inverness.

The cost-effective new service is a first for Palletline which is one of only a few UK networks to offer an overnight / next-day service to the most northern parts of Scotland.

Graham Leitch, Group Managing Director of Palletline, said: “We are delighted with the success of this new service which is the latest addition to our extensive portfolio of services for customers.

“Within its first few weeks, the service has proven hugely popular with customers who are now able to take their goods to market in the northern areas of Scotland more quickly, offering an improved service for their own customers in those areas.”

A R R Craib operates out of Aberdeen and Glasgow.
