North-east logistics expert, Petrasco, has bolstered operations with the appointment of experienced industry professional, Julie McAdams, as head of business assurance.
Further underlining the company’s commitment to enhancing processes and systems, Julie will lead initiatives to strengthen safety culture and drive best practice across the company’s operations in Aberdeen, Dubai and Houston.
Julie has nearly 20 years’ experience within the Denholm Energy Services group, progressing from engineering administrator at Denholm Environmental to business manager, and having developed a strong track record in leadership and operations.
Established in 1974, Petrasco is a specialist provider of international logistics solutions to the energy industry. Its expertise ranges from air, sea and road freight services to customs compliance, warehousing and distribution for clients around the world.

Since 2021, Julie has supported Petrasco across UK and international markets in a dual QHSE role, building global HSE experience. She holds NEBOSH health and safety and environmental management certificates and specialises in governance, compliance and risk management, with a focus on practical continuous improvement.
