Petrofac has secured a contract extension for its operations in the UK’s Southern North Sea, continuing its services for ONEgas West, a Shell UK operated venture.

The renewed scope includes ongoing support for the Clipper South complex, Leman Alpha assets, Bacton Terminal, and the region’s OneGas Barge campaigns, reinforcing Petrofac’s presence across ONEgas West’s asset portfolio.

Having supported these key North Sea assets since 2020, Petrofac is recognised as an integral part of the delivery team, with expertise positioned to enhance production and extend field life.

According to John Pearson, Chief Operating Officer of Petrofac’s Asset Solutions and Energy Transition Projects, “Petrofac is embedded within the delivery team and is uniquely placed to support production enhancement and field life extension.

“The North Sea remains one of Asset Solutions’ core markets and this award demonstrates confidence held in our team and the value they drive. We look forward to continuing this relationship, delivering safe and reliable operations.”

This extension reflects ongoing confidence in Petrofac’s North Sea capabilities and demonstrates its strategic focus on safe, reliable operational delivery in one of its principal markets.
