INDEPENDENT financial advisory firm, Phil Anderson Financial Services, has signed a one-year contract to sponsor the home strip of Sunnybank Football Club for the 2022/2023 season.

The Aberdeen junior team recently kicked off the McBookie.com NRJFA Championship in their new home strip featuring the Phil Anderson Financial Services logo.

Company founder and MD, Phil Anderson, commented: “Giving back to the community is always something I hugely support, and being from Mastrick myself, I used to watch Sunnybank Football team when I was younger. It’s great for me now to sponsor their football strip and support a team I’ve always loved to watch. The team are full of enthusiasm, and I wish them the best of luck for this season.” 

Sunnybank FC play their home games at Heathryfold Park, and have recently completed their new hospitality suite, which can accommodate up to 18 people on home match days.

Gillian Bloomer, Chairperson at Sunnybank FC, said: “It’s fantastic to have Phil Anderson Financial Services on board as this season’s sponsor. We’ve had a good start to the season and the team are delighted with their new home strips. For the club to continue, its vital for us to receive sponsorship to expand our offering such as the new hospitality suite as well as the team to continue playing a sport they love within their local community.”

Phil Anderson Financial Services recently achieved their highest turnover in 2021 resulting to their best financial performance since launching in 2010. Supporting the local community is an integral part of the firm’s culture, and saw them being shortlisted for the Community Impact Award at this year’s Elevator Awards.
