POLICE Scotland has confirmed it will close four local offices throughout Aberdeen.
Stations in Mastrick, Whinhill, Rosemount and Torry have all been deemed surplus to requirements following a consultation.
In their place, the force will create two new response hubs to take in officers.
Woodhill House, headquarters of Aberdeenshire Council, will home officers previously stationed at Mastrick, Whinhill and Rosemount, while officers based previously in Torry will move to a new hub at the existing Nigg police station.

Chief Superintendent Graeme Mackie, divisional commander for the North-east, said “We recognise that having lots of small teams spread across the city has restricted information sharing, learning and also impacted on the wellbeing of our staff.
“Creating larger hubs at Woodhill House and Nigg, will create a more efficient and effective policing service for our communities.”
The response hub in Nigg is expected to begin operating later this year, while the Woodhill House hub will be operational early next year.
