CETCO Energy Services will host a technology-focused Open Day for clients and industry partners at its Portlethen operational hub. The event will demonstrate how CETCO helps operators reduce costs, improve HSE performance, and lower their environmental impact.

The event will feature demonstrations and presentations focused on solutions designed for mature assets, future tie-ins, and well interventions. A central focus of the day will be CETCO’s patented Hi-Flow® Advanced Coalescing Technology, one of the most cost-effective produced water polishing solutions available and designed to reduce waste, minimize exposure, and lower operating costs.

Sand management will also form a major part of the programme, with presentations showing how CETCO designs and optimises sand management systems for real-world field conditions.

CETCO’s Sealmaker solution will also feature patented, shear-activated sealant technology that isolates and eliminates complex downhole and subsea leaks, helping reduce intervention requirements and associated costs.

Produced water technology demonstrations will be led by Aberdeen-based Produced Water Lead Specialist for EMEA Kiko Sanchez. He will showcase CETCO’s proprietary Hi-Flow® Unit and highlight how ORCA™ (Objective Root Cause Analysis) Consulting Field Studies improve water-handling efficiency, reduce intervention frequency, and deliver measurable cost, HSE, and environmental performance improvements across producing assets.

The Open Day will take place on Thursday, 18 June 2026.

John Fletcher, EMEA Regional Director at CETCO Energy Services, said: “Everything being demonstrated ties directly back to what operators are expecting — reduced cost, reduced exposure, and reduced waste. Our Hi-Flow® Advanced Coalescing Technology delivers major consumables savings, fewer offshore interventions, and a much smaller footprint, while our enclosed systems significantly lower exposure to hazardous produced water streams. Combined with agile rental-based solutions, CETCO offers a fundamentally smarter way to manage today’s operational challenges.”

Susan Caddell, Sales Manager for Europe, highlighted the environmental performance of CETCO’s approach: “CETCO can massively reduce waste, directly supporting industry sustainability targets.”

As produced water volumes and solids management challenges increase across mature assets and new developments, CETCO continues to invest in engineering capabilities that enable safer, cleaner, and more cost-effective energy operations.
