The Energy Institute (EI) Aberdeen, Highlands and Islands Branch is holding a lecture by Professor Sir David King HonFEI, recipient of the EI’s 2016 Melchett Award, in which he will discuss the ‘post-Paris Energy Transition’.  

This event will take place on 31 January 2017 at the Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel in Aberdeen.

Sir David will explain how the Paris Climate Change agreement, designed to manage the risks of climate change, provides the greatest opportunity of our era for reconnecting the sequence: science, engineering, innovation, wealth creation. In doing so, he will highlight the opportunities for energy businesses to innovate and lead the transition.

The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception and opportunity to continue discussion with fellow energy professionals.
