Prime Aberdeen city centre hotel completes £1 million refurbishment

A PRIME Aberdeen city centre hotel has just announced completion of a significant £1 million programme of investment and the creation of 20 new jobs.

The popular Holiday Inn Express® Aberdeen City Centre on Chapel Street has just benefitted from the cash injection by owner Cairn Group as part of its ongoing partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts.   The extensive refurbishment work has included all 155 bedrooms, corridors and public areas, as well as an IHG next generation lobby concept on the ground floor.

The Holiday Inn Express® Aberdeen City Centre is located in the city’s West End within close proximity of Union Street and within easy reach of rail and bus links.  Just 20 minutes away is Aberdeen International Airport and the location is an ideal gateway for exploring Aberdeenshire as well as the city itself.   The hotel also offers two modern, air-conditioned meeting rooms one of which can accommodate up to 35 people making it an ideal venue for business meetings and appointments.
