Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd is celebrating a trio of major milestones as the award-winning firm continues to go from strength to strength.

The company, headquartered in Ellon, has promoted long-serving team member Laura Cantlay to the role of Office Manager. Laura, who has been with the firm for several years, has earned a reputation for her dedication and efficiency, and will now oversee operations at the busy head office.

The promotion comes on the back of a record-breaking start to 2025 for the business. In the first three months of the year, the firm has written over £300,000 in new business, surpassing its previous Q1 best of £241,919, set back in 2019. The company’s recent expansion into Cheshire has been credited as a key factor in the bumper quarter, with plans already underway to further grow into Edinburgh.

In addition to the strong start to the year and internal promotions, the firm has also welcomed a new face to its growing team. Tom Atterton has joined as a Trainee Financial Planner, based at the Ellon office. He is expected to play an important role in the company’s continued growth as he develops in his new position.

Managing Director Phil Anderson said the first quarter of 2025 had exceeded expectations:
“We’re thrilled with how the year has begun. Laura’s promotion is a great example of rewarding talent from within, and bringing Tom into the team will help us continue to offer the high level of service our clients expect. With further expansion on the horizon, there’s a real buzz around the company right now.”

Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd continues to serve clients across the UK with expert financial advice on mortgages, pensions, investments, and insurance.
