LEADING Scottish property firm, The SRE Group, has launched Merchant Exchange, its high-profile refurbishment for Aberdeen City Centre.

Located at the heart of Aberdeen, the building, with its traditional granite façade, has been brought up to date to create space that works for agile businesses and is well-connected to public transport as well as retail and leisure.

New tenants Aurora Energy, Aberdeen Inspired and HS Beauty have already signed up to space at the revitalised development.

The location is adjacent to Aberdeen City Council’s proposed new market, which will create a new destination venue featuring international food and drinks outlets and further strengthen the appeal of Merchant Street and nearby Union Street as top office locations.

The recent launch was attended by local agents who gave a very positive response to the reimagined workspace.

John Grewar, who manages lettings for the SRE Group, said: “Merchant Exchange is an integral part of our Aberdeen portfolio, which also includes Union Point and the recently announced Auora Aberdeen.

“Its ideal city centre location is now reflected in our refurbishment of the building, which has created a collection of ‘walk in’ suites with break-out areas and meeting rooms for the larger offices. The building’s reception has also been reconfigured and revitalised.

“We are delighted to welcome our new tenants to the Merchant Exchange community and to see Aberdeen continue to evolve as an exciting, supportive business destination.”

Suites range from 250 sq. ft. to larger floors of 3,500 sq. ft. Larger suites can be provided on a conventional rental basis if required, as can bespoke fit out packages.

Car parking is available.
