Pure Gym opens at Hill of Rubislaw

PureGym has opened its fourth Aberdeen 24-hour gym in H1, previously known as Seafield House at the Hill of Rubislaw, Aberdeen.

The firm has invested £2.6million in the latest two facilities which offer low-cost, high-quality facilities with 24-hour access and no contract.

The new gyms will create 20 new jobs in the city, including 16 self-employed personal trainers who will support the fitness ambitions of PureGym members. Recently PureGym also completed the refurbishment of its gym at Shiprow in Aberdeen.

Humphrey Cobbold, chief executive of PureGym said: “We are delighted to celebrate the opening of Aberdeen’s third and fourth 24-hour PureGyms as well as the launch of the Granite City, Fit City campaign.”

Set to open on Thursday 11 January, the Hill of Rubislaw Pure Gym becomes the third occupier in the last six months to join H1.

Other occupiers at H1 include Siccar Point Energy, Well-Safe Solutions and Chevron.

Pure Gym, is one of the UK’s leading gym operator and has taken a self-contained unit of 15,000 sq ft on the ground floor of H1, set separately from the building’s main entrance.

Pure Gym operates 200 gyms in the UK for over 900,000 members, hosting up to 80 on-site classes a week as well as each site
containing over 220 pieces of fitness equipment.
