Lee Bolt joins as Engineering Director to lead Raggnar’s heat design, installation and maintenance activities and manage its nationwide network of service Hubs. Lee has more than 20 years’ experience designing and installing heating systems for castles, stately homes and municipal complexes.

Helen Rankin joins Raggnar as Director of Systems to manage its back office functions. Helen brings 30 years of operations, finance and office management expertise from working in the oil, gas and construction industries.

These appointments will allow Heather Smith, Raggnar’s Technical Director, to focus on increasing the firm’s product portfolio.

Meanwhile, Iain Ralston has been promoted to become Managing Director of Raggnar Power. Iain, who joined Raggnar as Director of UK Operations in 2014, takes over day-to-day responsibility for the business from Nigel Perkins. Nigel will continue as Chairman of Raggnar Power and lead Raggnar’s moves into new technologies and markets as CEO of Raggnar Group.

Nigel Perkins, CEO of Raggnar Group, comments: “Well-designed biomass systems provide a cheap and reliable source of heating for decades and we are winning new contracts nationwide. We are delighted to welcome Helen and Lee to the team. Their appointments strengthen Raggnar’s management at a time of rapid expansion for the business and provides the headroom we need to develop complementary technologies and move into new markets.”
