Record growth leads to eight new positions at CALA Homes

Housebuilder CALA Homes has announced eight new job opportunities within its Aberdeen office – further bolstering the North team in line with encouraging sales and a fifth consecutive year of record group revenue and profit.

The eight new team members being sought will join four recent appointments to CALA’s Aberdeen team in recent weeks, substantially increasing the office headcount since summer 2017.

The new positions complement CALA’s positive outlook for the North region, combined with a pipeline of new developments and the housebuilder’s continued search for land opportunities throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

The firm recently appointed a new commercial manager, engineering manager, marketing assistant and assistant engineer and is now on the lookout for a surveyor, customer experience manager, maintenance manager, PA/office manager, sales advisor, site manager, assistant site manager and architectural manager.

When the new roles are filled CALA’s Aberdeen headcount will total 58.

Mike Naysmith, Managing Director for CALA Homes (North), said: “The opening of eight new positions within the North office, combined with the four recent recruits, indicates a positive outlook for both CALA and the housebuilding industry in Aberdeen.

“The growth in live sites and search for new land goes hand-in-hand with the further recruitment of quality personnel within each of their specialisms. At CALA, we want to work with the best in the industry and look to employ staff who are consistent with the standards of an award-winning housebuilder.

“We are delighted to now be in a position to welcome new recruits to an already thriving team in Aberdeen and look forward to exploring the high calibre of potential candidates.”
