RIG intake inspection experts ModuSpec and energy sector training prover Well Academy – both part of MR Group – were delighted to open the doors to their new interactive oil & gas training facility in Westhill this week.
The team welcomed visitors during two open days, showcasing the centre’s classroom area, breakout areas and drilling simulator room. The simulator enables engineers to practice complex, real-life operations in a safe and controlled environment.

In addition to hearing more about the courses on offer, visitors heard more about ModuSpec’s technical consultancy offerings including its real-time monitoring expertise.
A suite of courses accredited by the International Well Control Forum (IWCF) and the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IDC) will be delivered from the centre, along with industry renowned ModuSpec courses including its popular Rig Inspection Workshop.
