Attracting well over 100 nominations, the event provides a great opportunity to recognise the achievements of businesses and individuals throughout the offshore energy sector, including oil, gas, wind, hydrogen and carbon capture and storage.

Rob’s broadcast career began with Judge Rinder. Winning a BAFTA with his episode of ‘Who Do You Think You Are’, his following documentary series ‘My Family, The Holocaust, and Me’ and ‘Holy Land’’: Our Untold Stories,’ aired to critical acclaim. In 2020, Rob was awarded an MBE for his services to the Holocaust education and an honorary doctorate for his legal work.

This year he received a Doctor of Literature from University College London for writing, teaching and advocacy in social equality and Holocaust education.

Rob is a regular host on ‘Good Morning Britain’ and co-hosts BBC Two’s ‘Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby’. Earlier this year he fronted BBC Two’s ‘Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour’, where he made his conducting debut in Venice and also hosted ‘Britain Behind Bars: A Secret History’ on Channel 4.

Rob’s novels ‘The Trial’ and ‘The Suspect’ became instant Sunday Times bestsellers and are inspired by his experiences as a barrister.

Commenting on the announcement, OEUK CEO David Whitehouse, said: â€œWe have an abundance of talented people and enterprising companies helping to drive a homegrown transition towards low carbon energies. Their expertise is driving innovation and positive change that is helping to shape the UK’s energy future.
