Event brings significant economic boost to city and region

Rogue Invitational, the annual three-day CrossFit and Strongman competition organised by Rogue Fitness, will return to Aberdeen’s P&J Live for the third year running, with event dates announced as 23 – 25 October 2026.

This follows the significant successes of the 2024 and 2025 events, which were the first two to be held outside the USA with 30,000 tickets sold across the two events.

Attracting visitors from 40 different countries, and with a 700-strong contingent of staff, athletes, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and vendors to Aberdeen each year, the 2024 and 2025 events generated combined visitor spend of £7m to the local economy based on research by Visit Aberdeenshire.

The 2025 Rogue Invitational attracted more than 5 million live stream viewers and 12 million impressions across social media platforms, with fans watching on as the world’s best athletes battled it out to win a share of the $1.5 million prize purse.

Rob Wicks, Managing Director of P&J Live in Aberdeen, said: “The Rogue Invitational has been an outstanding event to host for the past two years, so to have it back for a third successive year is very special. We are honoured to again be the host venue, we very much enjoy working with the team from Rogue in our unique venue, and our in-house expertise is on hand to deliver the event’s complex requirements.

Caity Matter Henniger, Chief Sales Officer at Rogue Fitness, said: “We’re happy to be back in Aberdeen for our third year of the Rogue Invitational. With the city, the venue, and the history of strength culture in Scotland, the decision was clear to return for another year!”
