Last year saw the ROSEN consultancy firm hit many milestones in Aberdeen including doubling its turnover and increasing its team to 20 with recruitment continuing in the coming months. The integrity specialists have also been involved in working in partnership with the Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) supporting innovation projects and providing technical support.
Joining ROSEN in Aberdeen, Andreia Meneses became part of the team in November as an Integrity Engineer and brings a wealth of knowledge to her role having previously held the positions of Project and Pipeline Engineer. Andreia has many accolades to her name including qualifying with distinction in Petroleum Production Engineering from Robert Gordon University, she was awarded the best MSc paper from the Energy Institute in 2019, and recently achieved Charted Engineer status with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Speaking of her appointment, Andreia said: “I am delighted to join the ROSEN team here in Aberdeen and to be part of a number of projects, in particular a very challenging pipeline asset life extension project for one of our key clients. I am excited to utilise my previous experience as a pipeline integrity engineer and help build our Aberdeen consultancy business to ensure we meet our clients’ expectations and demands.”
Bryn Roberts, Technical Manager for ROSEN in Aberdeen, said:
“At ROSEN we have a wealth of experience and expertise under our belts and we understand the importance of mentoring the next generation of engineers. We are fortunate enough to have a varied client base and work on a number of projects that are really forward thinking.”
Currently we have initiatives with Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) and contracts covering the hydrogen market and offshore renewables as well as what we are best known as which is integrity management within the oil and gas sector. Andreia will get the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge on these projects as well as from the generations of experience that our team has.”
