Emma, a specialist in fatigue management, will share insights on how to improve safety through better sleep, while Grant will present on the importance of integrating human factors into complex operational environments.
The afternoon will see Alan Smith of COMET, Charlie Cameron of AquaTerra Training, David Jamieson of SALUS, and Megan Hine of Drager take the stage between 1:20pm and 2:40pm.
Each speaker will cover a unique theme: Alan will discuss the role of human error in investigations, Charlie will highlight the importance of confidence in competence and training planning, and David will address the financial risks of neglecting process safety improvement plans. Megan Hine will conclude the programme, focusing on how Drager is enhancing safety while reducing costs—a critical factor in the energy transition.
More than 50 local businesses will be exhibiting, including expert training providers, innovative workwear and PPE suppliers, and many more, offering a comprehensive range of QHSE products and services.
Jason Moir, organiser of The Safety Expo, said: “We’re thrilled that The Safety Expo is just around the corner! I encourage everyone interested to register as soon as possible for this unique opportunity to network with leading local businesses and hear from a fantastic line-up of speakers.”
The Safety Expo runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at P&J Live in Aberdeen. Attendees can enjoy complimentary breakfast rolls, buffet lunch, and refreshments throughout the day at no cost.
