MACDONALD Aviemore Resort is preparing to welcome around 1000 children to their popular Santa Weekends this winter as the festive mini-breaks make a welcome return to the venue. Continuing the Resort’s 50-year reputation as a leading location for festive fun, this year will see Santa Weekend guests welcomed across four consecutive weekends with arrivals on November 26th, December 3rd, 10th and 17th. With one weekend already sold out and additional dates filling up fast, a festive and magical atmosphere for families is guaranteed.
Following high demand, and catering particularly for families with pre-school children, the resort has introduced an additional two Santa mid-week breaks this year. These two-night breaks will include all the magic but are lighter on the pocket. Guests can choose from arriving on Monday 29th November or Monday 13th December.

After young guests check-in they can post their letter to Santa in the Elves Post Box. Throughout the break children can enjoy a visit to Santa in his Highland Home, a chance to get up close to a real reindeer herd, and cheeky elves popping up around every corner. The break includes a festive family dining experience with a new theme every evening, accompanied by free-flowing entertainment – laugh-out loud at the live pantomime and at the end of a fun-filled evening rest your head in the comfort of a 4-star family guest room.
Guests may also enjoy fully inclusive access to the Aviemore Activity Centre, which will be transformed into an Elf Village bursting with activities such as an elf workshop, elf uniform design, festive art and crafts, and a trip to Mrs Claus’ kitchen.
During a packed festive season, Macdonald Aviemore Resort will continue its long term support of the local fundraising Santa Run on December 11th, providing a kids’ pack for every child taking part in the event.

Macdonald Aviemore Resort Santa Weekend prices are from £219 per family of four per night, based on four-star accommodation for a three-night dinner, bed and breakfast stay. Midweek Santa Breaks start from £159 per family of four, per night.
