SBP accountants and tax advisers strengthens management team

SBP Accountants & Tax Advisers, which has offices in Aberdeen, Peterhead, Banff and Fraserburgh, has appointed Graham Alexander as director adding to the six-strong management team.

Mr Alexander will manage the Aberdeen headquarters and staff with a focus on developing and growing the firm’s own talent pool. He is set to implement measures to support the firm’s 35 employees looking to progress their goals within SBP, ensuring a strong workforce capable of delivering SBP’s high level of service.

Mr Alexander, a certified accountant, brings a wealth of experience to the role with over 35 years in professional offices and a recent post in industry as a finance director. Alongside his professional qualifications, he holds an MSc in Advanced Leadership from Edinburgh’s Napier University.

Managing partner of SBP, John Hannah, said: “As SBP looks to further build its diverse client base across the North-east, it is vital that we have the correct foundations in place to ensure the business will continue to grow steadily leading to future success.

“Graham’s appointment is key for the business as we look to nurture the excellent range of existing talent we have, while integrating the team in a more cohesive way. His experience in the industry means he offers a well-rounded view on how we can address challenges both internally and externally.

“As well as his operational responsibilities, Graham will work with a mixed portfolio of clients and will, alongside the partners, deliver our on-going business development objectives.”

SBP employs 35 members of staff and six partners throughout the firm’s four branches, working with a number of high profile North-east companies, ranging from sole traders to large corporate businesses.
