Peterhead-based engineering specialist Score has completed its third strategic acquisition in recent weeks, acquiring Australian company Callidus as part of an ambitious international expansion plan.
Callidus, based in Perth, provides flow control, valve management and welding solutions to clients across the mineral processing and gas sectors. The deal strengthens Score’s presence in the Asia Pacific region and enhances its operational capabilities in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Madagascar and New Caledonia.
The acquisition follows Score’s recent purchases of BLJ In-Situ Solutions in Australia and Houston-based Drake Controls, marking a period of significant international investment for the Scottish firm.

With BLJ In-Situ Solutions and Drake Controls already reinforcing our presence in Australasia and North America, the addition of Callidus adds significant momentum — deepening our technical capabilities, expanding our reach, and enhancing how we support customers, particularly in severe service environments.

Callidus will continue operating under its existing brand while leveraging the global scale, technical resources and infrastructure of Score. The company is expected to retain its established customer base while gaining access to new markets and international project opportunities.
Score, which specialises in valve and emissions management as well as gas turbine technologies, is headquartered in Aberdeenshire and operates worldwide.
