The Peterhead-based firm has further invested in its American sales team, having recently expanded its global presence with a North American facility. To do this, the aero-derivative gas turbine supplier has appointed a new sales manager in each of its North and South American offices.
Daniel Fernandez will retain and expand Score Energy’s client base in South America. Daniel comes from an engineering background and has a vast amount of managerial experience in the repair and overhaul of gas turbines with global companies such as Siemens, Rolls Royce, PDVSA and TurboCare.
He said: “Joining Score is a great opportunity for me to work with a globally renowned service company. It has a great reputation within the industry and I look forward to joining and contributing to its success.”
Alvaro Ruiz joins the 120-strong team to manage the sales on the eastern seaboard of North America. With a well-rounded background, he has experience and knowledge in both chemical engineering and business development. Alvaro has a proven track record in sales for companies including WoodGroup, Ethos Energy and Nalco in Northern and Latin America.
He said: “It is an exciting time to join Score Energy with its recent facility opening in Houston and its OEM approvals I am looking forward to meeting and working with both new and existing clients of the company.”
It is hoped the new Houston base will play a key part in giving Score’s clients a local base in the US which provides the same level of customer support as its Scottish headquarters for the GE, Rolls Royce and Siemens ranges of aero-derivative and light industrial gas turbines.
Score Energy is recognised as the number one aero-derivative gas turbine support company in the world, with OEM approvals from many key manufacturers such as Honeywell, AAT, Parker, Woodward, TDI and Arkwin.
It has more than 120 qualified experts and specialists working in facilities throughout the globe, including England, Dubai, China, Venezuela, Kuala Lumpur, and in the organisations newest facility in Houston, Texas.
