SCOTTISH business The Power Within Training and Development has confirmed its expansion into a new market after setting up a joint venture business to be based in Aberdeen.
The Glasgow based company – run by couple James and Enas Fleming – has experienced significant growth in the past 18 months, despite the pandemic, and is now expanding the services it offers through new division The Power Within Training UK Ltd.

The new venture will be headed up by experienced entrepreneurs Beena Sharma and Jordan Ferguson who have extensive expertise in the oil & gas and construction industries, with a particular focus on behavioural change and business growth.
The company will deliver vital leadership, mindset and motivational tools to help businesses within the oil & gas sector in particular, meet the leadership demands of navigating the global energy transition – a shift over the coming decades from an energy mix based on fossil fuels to one that produces zero carbon emissions, based on renewable energy sources.
The original Power Within Training & Development business was founded by married couple James and Enas in 2017 after they returned home from years of working abroad in corporate oil and gas careers.
The company helps people and businesses excel by improving their motivation, self-belief, decision making and leadership skills through a ground-breaking approach called Motivational Intelligence.
The business is the only recognised consultant outside of North America with the ability to deliver registered training in Motivational Intelligence and, most recently, James, Enas and their team introduced the world’s first SQA approved Executive Diploma in Leading with Motivational Intelligence.
The new venture – The Power Within Training UK Ltd – will offer business leaders, and emerging leaders, extensive training in Motivational Intelligence to help them guide their business through the transition and fast-paced level of change within the energy sector.
Many of the company’s existing courses will be offered as well as new, bespoke courses specific to the demands of the energy transition.

New company Director Beena Sharma has a wealth of experience in various industries including oil & gas, renewables, manufacturing, construction, cleantech and healthcare, with a clear focus on driving innovative approaches and supporting start-ups and business growth.

The new venture will also be headed by Director Jordan Ferguson who has over 14 years’ experience in senior positions across the energy and oil & gas sectors within the UK, Europe and America.
With a vast background in technical engineering and operations, he brings a unique set of skills to The Power Within Training UK and has joined the company to focus on growing and advising the business forward alongside the senior management team.
