ABERDEEN International Airport is on the lookout for a new organisation to become the airport’s official charity partner.

Charities are being asked to get in touch with the north-east’s major transport hub to put their organisation forward.

Staff at Aberdeen International Airport will be given the final choice via a vote for the charity partner.

Any partnership will see the airport commit future fundraising events and donations to the preferred charity.

More than £50,000 has been raised over the last two year partnership with Kayleigh’s Wee Stars and We Too!

Lee McCann, Communications Manager and Charity Management Lead at Aberdeen International Airport, said: “We have been delighted to work with both We Too! And Kayleigh’s Wee Stars the last two years.

“I want to thank both charities for what has been a fantastic partnership that we are sad is coming to an end.

“We know there are several worthy charities out there who do incredible work for their communities and would urge any charity interested to please get in touch.”

Charities are asked to fill in an interest form available here or e-mail[email protected] for more information.

Shortlisted charities will be put forward to our staff who will then vote for our next exclusive charity partner.
