Aberdeen-based Converged Communication Solutions has bolstered its business development team with a new appointment.
Steve Smith has joined the IT firm, which specialises in providing Internet connections, telephone systems and IT support services, in the newly created role of business development manager. He brings over 20 years of experience to the post, which includes time with large multinational companies Xerox and Apple.

Brought up in Aberdeen, Steve is returning to work in the city after working in Tayside for the past three years. During his time in Tayside he volunteered with the Scottish Chamber of Commerce’s Business Mentoring Scotland initiative and currently mentors four individuals across east Scotland, helping them to build their skills and grow their businesses.
Steve’s role at Converged will see him lead its business development team as the firm targets continued growth across Scotland. Spearheading that expansion has been the investment Converged has made in strengthening the scope of its Internet service offering.
Converged has built one of the most robust connectivity networks in north-east Scotland, providing companies of all sizes with a range of Internet connection options that can best support their needs. This network includes access to 15 Openreach exchanges across Scotland and a pioneering high-speed wireless network in Aberdeenshire and Moray.

Converged Communication Solutions is an independent, Aberdeen-based IT support, telephony and Internet service provider.
