Hutcheon Mearns has strengthened its Resourcing offering with the addition of a new senior team member.

Jane Setter CA has joined the business as Resourcing Manager.  Jane completed her CA training with EY in Aberdeen before embarking on a career in recruitment with Page Group in both Australia and Aberdeen where her business and relationship skills were recognised through several recruitment awards.  More recently Jane has worked with MG Search where she focussed on Executive Search while developing new business relationships.

In her new role, Jane will be a valuable member of the Resourcing offering at Hutcheon Mearns working alongside the existing team: Andrew McLeod ACCA and Lois Wood.

Jane stated “Hutcheon Mearns is a unique Resourcing offering in the Aberdeen market as the team consists of qualified accountants and experienced Finance professionals.  This enables us to offer an unparalleled level of service and understanding to both clients and candidates.  As a CA myself, I feel Hutcheon Mearns was the right fit for my experience and I am looking forward to working with the team to develop this service line.”

Craig Hutcheon, Managing Director said “We are very excited to have Jane joining our market leading finance team.  Her finance background and extensive recruitment experience will enable us to expand our strong team at a time when we are experiencing ever increasing demand for our services.   As a business we are on track to have our strongest year as the market has continued to improve in the North East.  Our resourcing business is performing well ahead of last year with growth of 90%.  It is this demand that sees Hutcheon Mearns undertaking significant investment in people to ensure we can continue to provide the appropriate service levels to our clients”
