Senior management appointments at Nucore Group

Aberdeen-based Nucore Group has appointed two new directors to the business, CFO for Nucore Group and Services Director for Oteac Ltd.

Following Mark Fraser’s transition from CFO to CEO earlier this year, Gareth Forbes is appointed as CFO for Nucore Group.

Gareth Forbes, CFO said of his appointment “I’m very pleased to be joining Nucore Group as CFO. It is an exciting time as the company pursues a clear growth and development strategy in the offshore energy sector and other key markets. I greatly look forward to working with my fellow directors, the Board and investors, as we look build on our established brands and expertise with our experienced and talented workforce to execute that strategy.”

Mark Cowieson joins as Services Director for Oteac Ltd a new role on the board of directors. With a strong Engineering background, Mark joins us from Archer and brings with him a wealth of experience in both Rig and Operations Management roles.  With 29 years in the oil and gas industry, Mark’s expertise and experience will bring focus and drive to the Oteac Service Division for the business.
