Aberdeen’s long-established Shahbaaz Tandoori Restaurant has thanked its loyal customers following a successful Christmas Day service, while also giving back to the local community through a charitable initiative.

The city-centre restaurant, which has been serving Aberdeen for over 35 years, welcomed a full house of diners on Christmas Day. To mark the occasion and show appreciation, Shahbaaz provided 100 food parcels to support local people in need, working in partnership with the Mamacita Foundation.

Anis Ahmed, Owner of Shahbaaz Tandoori Restaurant, said:

“This year’s Christmas Day was incredibly special for us. The support we’ve had from our customers has been overwhelming, and we’re truly grateful to have such a loyal and supportive client base. With 100 guests dining with us on the day, it felt only right to give something back, so we donated 100 food parcels to support people in our local community. We’re very thankful to the Mamacita Foundation for helping us make this possible.”

The initiative reflects Shahbaaz’s ongoing commitment to supporting Aberdeen’s community alongside delivering quality hospitality.
