The Mariner field is located 93 miles east of the Shetland Islands and is one of the largest field developments in the UKCS with reserves estimated at more than 250 million barrels of heavy oil. Hook-up and commissioning will start this summer with up to 1,500 company and contractor personnel commencing inductions this spring.
Jamie Baikie, Senior Producer at SIGNAL2NOISE said, “Statoil has a track record of producing high quality video and animation and so we’re proud to have been selected to support the project’s video communications. Securing this, and recently winning an international Gold Award in the US, is a great start to 2017.”
