Starting bids range from £10 for a Tunnock’s gift box to £600 for the opportunity to take on Clan’s newest fundraising challenge – its Firewalk in November – as a team activity.

Bidders have until 11pm on Saturday, October 1, to place an offer on the items with all proceeds going towards providing vital services for people affected by cancer in the north-east, Moray, Shetland and Orkney.

Ruth McIntosh, Clan’s charity development manager, said: “We have a brilliant selection of items in this year’s auction for every budget. It’s the perfect opportunity to bag a unique experience or gift and support local people affected by cancer.”

“We’d like to thank everyone who has donated auction items this year and would urge people to keep their eyes peeled for new items which will be uploaded as we get closer to the event – the countdown is on!”

Clan Cancer Support will roll out the red carpet for its 20s style event at the Beach Ballroom on Saturday, October 1, where guests will be immersed in the prohibition era with performances from a live band, dancing flapper girls and barbershop singers.

The evening includes a three-course meal and drinks reception with tickets costing £100 per person and a limited number of tables of 10 are available at £1,000 each. The VIP packages are now completely sold out.
