THE Aberdeen Christmas Village continues to bring festive fun to the city of Aberdeen, which will include a performance from the local ice-skating team Sk8tastic at 4.30pm this afternoon.

The Sk8tastic team, managed by Andrea Law, were present throughout previous years of the opening of the Aberdeen Christmas Village – donning festive costumes to celebrate Christmas through an impressive routine on the Christmas Village ice rink. They are now set to return for 2022 to share their impressive skillset on the ice with visitors to the village through a new and engaging Christmassy choreographed routine.

The Aberdeen Christmas Village, organised by John Codona’s Pleasure Fairs, Aberdeen Inspired and Aberdeen City Council, has been bringing some festive fun and games to the city of Aberdeen with outdoor attractions, food, drink and a Christmas market known as “Curated in the Quad” – where local sellers selected by charity Charlie House are able to sell their goods. The Christmas Village has also welcomed a new addition to the range of attractions today, “The Hunt for the Lost Toys” – a treasure hunt which allows visitors to look for twelve Christmassy statues in Aberdeen. Those who complete the challenge win a free candy cane from the Christmas Village. The live performance of the Sk8tastic skating team is set to draw in more local interest and highlight the fun activities the Christmas Village is happy to host for Aberdeen City.

The Aberdeen Christmas Village is located on Broad Street, in front of Marischal College. At 4.30pm this afternoonthe ice rink will host the Sk8tastic team. The village will remain openuntil 10pm tonight. If you wish for any further details please [email protected].
