Aberdeen’s award winning BBQ caterers, Smoke and Soul, are excited to introduce a brand-new brunch menu, packed with bold, flavourful dishes for early risers and brunch enthusiasts.

From Monday 3rd February, the team will extend their opening hours for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, serving from 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, at their Bridge of Don venue, ‘The Old Smiddy’. Whether you’re craving a hearty Scottish breakfast, fluffy homemade pancakes, fresh avo toast, or BBQ brisket hash, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

While Smoke and Soul are best known for their slow-smoked Scottish meats, the new menu stays true to their commitment to inclusive dining, offering a range of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.

To complement the extended hours, the team has also launched a brand-new catering service for larger groups and corporate lunches. Businesses in Bridge of Don and the wider Aberdeen area can now enjoy sandwich platters, individual lunch boxes, and hot takeaway options, with delivery available for pre-orders.

Co-founder Lindsay Jackson said: “We’re excited to finally bring brunch to The Old Smiddy. We’ve crafted a menu full of big, bold flavours that capture everything Smoke and Soul is about.

“Our new manager Beth is an amazing baker, so customers can also expect amazing home made cakes alongside our locally roasted coffee and comfort food”

Brunch service officially launches on 3 February—so set your alarms and start your day the Smoke and Soul way!
