Organised by Women Connect, an organisation which promotes opportunities for females working across all business sectors, the masterclass takes place on Thursday, November 28 (6-8pm) at Aberdeen’s digital hub, ONE CodeBase, on Schoolhill.

The event, ‘Finding your digital voice’, is open to both men and women and is sponsored by Appetite for Business and Barclays Eagle Labs.

Attendees will benefit from expert guidance on maximising sales through Facebook and Instagram, building a strategy to scale their business and networking with other like-minded entrepreneurs.

Sheryl Newman, chair of Women Connect and managing director of event sponsor Appetite for Business, said: “Fin is an outstanding and very humorous keynote special and social media expert. Both insightful and creative, we look forward to learning from her experiences across many different aspects of social media whilst supporting a fantastic local charity.”

Lesley Taylor, ecosystem manager at Barclays Eagle Lab in Aberdeen, added: “We are delighted to be working alongside Appetite to bring someone of Fin’s calibre to Aberdeen. We look forward to Fin sharing her digital wisdom with our local community at ONE CodeBase whilst we raise funds for an excellent charity.”

Tickets cost £10, including refreshments and finger buffet, with all money raised benefiting Friends of the Neonatal Unit – the official charity of Aberdeen Maternity Hospital’s Neonatal Unit for premature and sick babies.
