Spiral Services announces key appointment to support global cross-industry strategy

CROSS-industry solutions provider Spiral Services has announced the appointment of John Skinner as Workshop Manager, as it continues its growth in the engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication fields.

Specialising in refurbishment, general fabrication, installation and maintenance operations, Spiral Services’ cross-industry approach allows for a tailored service to clients. Working globally, in the last year the company has shown great resilience within a competitive market and has been supplying equipment as far as Africa, UAE and East Asia whilst Europe remains at the hub of its largest customer base.

With an extensive engineering and fabrication background, John brings more than 40 years’ of experience spending time with James Fisher Offshore, Rotech Fabrication and latterly at Whittaker Engineering of Stonehaven. 

John will play a pivotal part in continuing the growth of the company across the oil and energy sector as well as its transition into new markets including military, aerospace, mining and food and beverage. His responsibilities will include the handling of day-to-day operations, managing the progression of workshop projects and supporting clients internationally.

Commenting on his appointment, John said: “I am joining a well-established team here at Spiral and  delighted to be welcomed on board as part of the  team.”
