AN Aberdeenshire video production company experienced huge growth over the course of 2020, despite the challenges posed by COVID restrictions and the ensuing difficult economic climate.

Xana Creative, founded by Megan Milne in 2018, doubled its turnover in the last year, with the predicted figure for 2021 set to be in excess of £50,000.

2020 also saw the Oldmeldrum-based firm expand the team with their first member of staff, executive assistant Denise Milne, and win two international contracts in both New Zealand and Dubai.

Megan, 26, said: “2020 has been a pivotal year for Xana Creative. Working with international clients has been a huge and very exciting learning curve for me.

“Shifting our focus to post-production work has opened up a new global market and I’m looking forward to seeing where 2021 takes us in terms of international clients.”

“I’m extremely proud of what our team has achieved in this short space of time, and I look forward to even bigger and brighter things in the future!”
