STENA Drilling is pleased to announce it has signed a new Contract with Ithaca Energy (UK) Limited for Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) Stena Spey.

UK and India sign landmark trade deal

The operations for Stena Spey in UKCS are due to commence between June 1, 2023 and September 1, 2023 for a firm scope of one (1) well.

Stena Drilling is delighted to secure work with Ithaca Energy and looks forward to completing a safe and efficient campaign.

The Stena Spey is a Friede & Goldman L907 (enhanced Pacesetter) twin pontoon, column-stabilised, semi-submersible offshore drilling unit. The Stena Spey is able to operate in water depths of 1,500ft using 18 3/4” – 15,000psi Hydril BOP and Vetco MR-6C riser.
