Stewart Milne Homes site managers win award

SENIOR site managers at two Stewart Milne Homes developments in the North-east have been awarded a national accolade.

The NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award is presented annually to site managers who demonstrate excellent standards on site, as well as high-quality construction.

Graham Mann (Gus), senior site manager at Stewart Milne Homes North’s Abbotswell Road development in Aberdeen was one of just 450 winners across the UK, alongside Darren Ferguson, senior site manager at the housebuilder’s Dunnottar Park development in Stonehaven.

Gus and Darren were chosen from an initial pool of 11,000 managers.

Run by the National Housebuilders Council, the Pride in the Job Award is described as the most highly regarded competition in the housebuilding industry.

Neil Thomson, Stewart Milne Homes regional director, said: “We extend our huge congratulations to both Darren and Gus and their teams on receiving these awards, which is a reflection of the commitment, drive, determination and leadership which they consistently display in managing and improving quality within their developments and our wider division in North Scotland.”
