A SUBSEA survey company has bolstered its Aberdeen team with a new appointment.
Paul Naysmith takes on the position of Global QHSE manager at Sulmara Subsea.
With over 20 years’ experience in aerospace, medical devices and oil and gas services, Paul is also the author of more than 100 articles and two books on quality and management. In 2014 he became the youngest ever Fellow of the Chartered Quality Institute, and holds honorary lifetime membership of the South African Quality Institute.
The company has also announced Al Rumson as its new Innovation lead who will be based in Bergen, Norway.
Kevin McBarron, Sulmara Subsea chief executive officer, said: “In spite of challenging conditions, the company is flourishing across its chosen marketplaces. For that upward trajectory to continue, it is crucial for us to have the right people in place to drive forward our plans. Both Paul and Al will be central to that strategy.

Sulmara Subsea was established in March 2019 and also operates from hubs in Houston and Singapore.
